MEDITATION

Mahesha is the centre's manager and yoga teacher. He teaches yoga for both locals and foreigners. He would be happy to give individual tuition (especially in Hatha Yoga) to resident meditators, if that should be wished.

The central aim of the Lewella Meditation Centre is to offer support and facilities for meditators who have already some experience with meditation and who wish to work in a self-reliant way. Residents are welcome to develop their own individual schedule, combining meditation, study and exercises according to personal inclinations and needs.

Visitors and residents are kindly requested to observe 5 precepts (with brahmacari as third) while staying at the centre .Meditators are welcome to follow their own practice while residing at the Lewella meditation center, and the visitors who are staying at the main building are kindly requested to participate to the both morning and evening group meditation sessions. Visitors who are staying in meditation huts (Kutis) are also welcome to the group sittings if they like.
Group sitting sessions:
Morning meditation session is at 06.00 - 07.00 HRS

Evening meditation session is at 18.30-19.30 HRS
